20,000 Leagues Under The Sea – Water Gong
Our percussion provider, G. I. Percussion, has sent us this video of the water gong they are providing for the area contest. It is a 24” Wind Gong and has bungee ropes attached to a stand.

Borrowed Players Form
Borrowed Players (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Section Bands only): if you intend to borrow players, please complete this form in full and return it to Lesley Bentley by the Friday one week before the contest (27th February for 1st, 3rd & 4th Section Bands and 6th March for 2nd Section Bands).

Entry Form for 2026
The entry form for the 2026 area contest has now been emailed to all the band secretaries. If you have not received it, or your band is thinking of entering for the first time, a copy may be downloaded here. The closing date for entries is Friday 9th January 2026.

Our New Committee & Constitution
At our AGM today, all our officers were re-elected unopposed. We also welcomed Alex Gibson and Antony Fawbert as the new delegates from NEMBBA. Our committee members are listed here.
